Log progress entries as you work toward your goal
As you make progress toward your goals, log updates in Zal.ai to track your movement and create a record for performance reviews.

Steps to Add a Progress Entry
- Go to Goals in the main navigation.
- Click on the goal you want to update (must be In Progress status).
- Click Add Progress.
- Enter the progress amount (the measurable movement toward your target).
- Add a brief explanation of what contributed to this progress.
- Click Save.
Viewing Progress History
Click on any goal to see all progress entries that have been logged. Each entry includes both the measurable movement and a brief explanation, giving you (and your manager) context behind the numbers.
Best Practices
- Update goals regularly—weekly or bi-weekly works well
- Include specific details about what you accomplished
- Discuss progress, wins, and blockers during your 1:1s
Why it matters: Goal progress is included as a data source in your performance review, so regular updates help ensure your accomplishments are captured.
