Managers: Approve Goals

Review and approve goals from your direct reports

When direct reports submit goals for approval, you'll receive a notification. Approving goals promptly keeps momentum moving and allows employees to start tracking progress.

Approve from Your Inbox

  1. Click Inbox in the main navigation.
  2. Find the notification for the goal submission.
  3. Click to open the goal details.
  4. Confirm the goal aligns with team and company priorities.
  5. Click Approve Goal.

Approve from My Team's Goals

  1. Go to GoalsMy Team's Goals.
  2. Check the Employee Overview tab to see goals awaiting approval.
  3. Click on the employee's name to view their goals.
  4. Click on the goal in Pending Approval status.
  5. Review and click Approve Goal.

What Happens After Approval

  • The goal status changes from Pending Approval to In Progress
  • The employee receives a notification
  • They can now begin logging progress updates
