Managers: Add Feedback About a Team Member

Document feedback throughout the year for performance reviews

As a manager, you can add feedback about any member of your team. This feedback is only visible to you and company admins—employees cannot see it. Adding feedback consistently helps ensure performance reviews are accurate and well-supported.

Steps to Add Feedback

  1. Click Feedback in the main navigation.
  2. Select My Team's Feedback.
  3. Click the + icon.
  4. Select the recipient (the person the feedback is about).
  5. Add a clear, descriptive title.
  6. Enter the date the feedback was received or observed.
  7. Add the feedback details in the description field.
  8. Select a type (document, Slack shout out, client email, or document if none fit).
  9. Optionally attach supporting materials.
  10. Optionally connect to the recipient's SMART goal or company value.
  11. Click Save.
Important: Use the actual date the feedback occurred—feedback is only included in performance review drafts if the date falls within the review period.

  • Project milestones and deliverables
  • Coaching moments or development observations
  • Recognition from peers or leadership
  • Constructive feedback for growth areas
