After publishing a performance review, schedule a meeting to discuss the results with your direct report. This article provides guidance for an effective review conversation.

Before the Meeting
- Publish the review so your direct report can read it beforehand.
- Schedule a meeting using Meetings → Meeting Planner.
- Select the "Performance Review Conversation" meeting type if available.
- Prepare talking points for each section of the review.
During the Conversation
- Start with a check-in – how is the employee feeling?
- Share the overall rating and context
- Discuss strengths and specific accomplishments
- Review growth areas constructively
- Set goals for the next review period
- Answer questions and address concerns
- Ask the employee to acknowledge the review
