# Feedback and Brag Sheet Overview

## Capture accomplishments and feedback throughout the year

Zal.ai's feedback feature helps you document accomplishments, recognition, and meaningful feedback throughout the year. By capturing this information as it happens, you create a reliable performance record that feeds into performance reviews.

## What's a Brag Sheet?

Your brag sheet is a personal record of accomplishments, wins, and recognition that you maintain throughout the year. Employees can add entries to their own brag sheet at any time.

## Manager Feedback

Managers can add feedback about any member of their team. This feedback is only visible to the manager and company admins—employees cannot see feedback others have written about them.

## How Feedback Connects to Reviews

When review season arrives, relevant feedback is automatically included in the AI-generated performance review draft. This makes it easier to write accurate, well-supported evaluations without reconstructing months of work from memory.

**Important:** Feedback is only included in performance review drafts if the feedback date falls within the review period being evaluated. Be sure to use the actual date the feedback occurred.

## Visibility Rules

**Your own brag sheet entries:** Visible to you, your manager, and admins

**Feedback a manager adds about you:** Visible only to the manager and admins (not to you)
