Zal.ai helps you create SMART goals—goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. You can create goals manually or use the AI assistant for guidance.

Two Ways to Create a Goal

Option 1: Create Manually

  1. Click Goals in the main navigation.
  2. Click the + icon.
  3. Select Create Manually.
  4. Fill in the goal form with your objective, target metrics, and timeline.
  5. Click Save to save as draft, or Submit to send to your manager.

Option 2: Use the AI Assistant

  1. Click Goals in the main navigation.
  2. Click the + icon.
  3. Select AI Assistant.
  4. A guided chat will open. Describe your goal in your own words.
  5. The AI—trained on the SMART framework—will ask progressive questions to refine your idea into something clear and actionable.
  6. Review the generated goal and submit when ready.
