Zal.ai allows admins to create meeting type templates with pre-defined agendas. This article explains how to create a performance review conversation meeting type so managers can use a consistent agenda when discussing reviews with their direct reports.

How to Create a Meeting Type
- From the left navigation, click Settings.
- Select Meeting Types.
- Click + Add Meeting Type.
- Fill in the details:
- Title: e.g., "Performance Review Conversation"
- Description: Brief explanation of the meeting's purpose
- Suggested Duration: e.g., 60 minutes
- Use the rich text editor to create an Agenda template.
- Click Save.

Here's a suggested agenda you can adapt:
- Open the conversation – check in on how the employee is feeling
- Share overall performance rating and context
- Discuss strengths and accomplishments
- Review areas for growth and development
- Set goals for the next review period
- Answer employee questions
- Employee acknowledgment of review
Tip: The agenda you create will automatically appear in the public notepad of every meeting that uses this meeting type.
